Jenny Sharman

Jenny Sharman was born and brought up in Kenya. From an early age her main passions in life have been animals and the environment. Her degree in Geography at the School of African and Asian Studies at Sussex University focussed on man's impact on bio-diversity, Climate Change, poverty and human rights issues suffered by people living in developing countries, and the over-riding solution to many of these problems - the promotion of sustainable development for all. Luckily, Jenny's talents lay in drama, journalism and the media - a perfect and powerful combination to help relay her knowledge and passions to audiences around the world.

Having started her career with the world's largest sports television company, Trans World International, Jenny has been involved in productions that have been broadcast in over 100 countries. Since going freelance, she has worked as a versatile Producer/Director on a wide variety of projects covering a range of subjects from sport, wildlife, politics, environmental campaigns and sustainable development education. Jenny has also helped in the initiation of a UK based charity known as The Kenya Children’s Trust. The Trust helps disadvantaged children in one of Kenya’s growing slums.
